Terms of Service

These terms apply when you request a quote from or sell a device to Crazy Tech Buyers ("we", "us", "our"). By contacting us for a quote or completing a sale, you agree to these terms.

Quotes

Quotes are based on the device details you give us — model, storage, and condition. A quote is an estimate and is confirmed once we inspect the device in person. The price we quote is the price you get, provided the device matches the description you gave us. If we find a significant undisclosed issue, we'll discuss it with you before going ahead. You are never obligated to sell.

Selling a device to us

• You confirm that you are the legal owner of the device, or are authorised to sell it.
• You confirm the device is not reported lost or stolen and is not subject to any finance or carrier lock that prevents resale.
• You are responsible for removing your SIM and memory cards and signing out of your accounts (including any activation lock) before handover.
• Once the sale is complete and payment is made, ownership of the device transfers to us and the sale is final.

Pickup and payment

We offer free pickup within 15 km of the Melbourne CBD. Pickup times are arranged by agreement. Payment is made on the spot by cash or PayID once we have inspected the device and both parties agree on the final price.

Data on your device

We factory reset and professionally wipe every device we buy, but you remain responsible for backing up and removing your own data before handover. We are not liable for any data left on a device you sell to us.

Referral program

Referral rewards are paid when a referred customer completes a successful sale. We may change or end the referral program at any time. Rewards have no cash-transfer value beyond the amount stated and cannot be combined unless we say otherwise.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with a sale is limited to the agreed purchase price of the device.
